Brown Trout
The bite was great the first few weeks of August, but has slowed. We have had several fish in the 5 to 6lbs range the last week or two. These fish are starting feed on a normal pattern (early am, and late afternoon). Most of the fish we have been catching are trolling. The secret depth seems to be 24ft in the morning and 28 to 30ft in the afternoon. Use bright color crank baits and spoons, any size will work right now. The Trout should start congregating in bigger schools by the first of September, and be easier to catch!
Bass
The Largemouth bite has been decent early in the morning on topwater or around docks. Try using a white fluke or a finese worm.
Spotted bass have been schooling mid-morning in and around humps and points. We have been catching most of these fish on green X-raps.

Walleye:
The bite has been good early in the morning. The fish seem to be hanging in the 25 to 30ft mark early in the morning and 40 to 50 ft mid-day. Look for long points that have a gradual drop. Try trolling large crankbaits with dipsy divers or downriggers. This pattern will remain the same over the next few weeks.
