Lake Lanier Fishing

December is upon us and the shallow water bite is still hot! The Striped Bass are biting good throughout the day. Most of these fish are tipping the scales at 12 to 15 lbs with a few 20’s and an occasional 30 lber. This is a good time of year to catch Striped Bass on Bucktail Jigs. The Capt Mack Farr 3/8oz white seems to work best. Cast these jigs in toward the banks in the morning’s working then out over a 20 ft bottom. Hold on because when a big fish hits it the drags gonna scream!! These fish should hold this same pattern for the next fee weeks. Good luck;
