Lake Lanier Fishing

Fishing Lake Lanier can have it’s ups and down with the weather patterns we experience here in Georgia. The Spotted Bass population in this North Georgia Lake is one of the best in the World! The Spot bite has been on fire lately. These fish are feeding in about any lure combination that is thrown at them. Look for the Spots to finish up spawning soon.
Striped Bass
The Lake Lanier Striped Bass have started Thier spawning run up the creeks and rivers channels. These fish are in about every hump and shallow point in the lake right now. Trolling live bait shallow right now seems to be the ticket to getting bit. We have not seen as many big fish as years past but have had good success with numbers.
