Lake Lanier Fishing Guides

Report
Lake Lanier has finally got a winter water temp of 50deg. The south end of the lake is in the low 50’s. These cooler water temps have pushed the Striped Bass off of the shallow water humps and points into some deeper water. The freeline bite has been decent of the south end of the lake. Most of the fish we have been catching on the north end of lake Lanier Gainesville area have been on a 30 to 40 ft bottom. Downlines tipped with herring or small trout seem to be the ticket. Cast a Capt. Mack’s A rig has very very productive as well. Good luck and come join us for a Lake Labier guided fishing trip.
