Dog days are here. The Striped Bass action has been hot!! The water temp is still in the 80’s and the fish are still hanging on the south end of Lake Lanier. We have been catching most of our fish over a 100ft bottom. These fish are grouped up tight in big schools. The Capt. Mack Bucktail bite has turned on. Try dropping these jigs down through the Stripped Bass schools and reeling up very fast while stopping to pause briefly. Just hold on to yhe rod because when they hit its like a frieght train running on the end of your line!
