Lake Lanier Fishing Report

The Striped Bass Action has been great this summer. We have been fishing on some really big schools on the south end of the lake. Moat of the fish we are catching seem to be healty this year. The peak bite seem to be in the afternoon hours midday. Lake Lanier Buford Dam releases water daily although the times vary but the bite is better when the Corps of enginners are releasing water. Most of the fish we have been catching the last few days have been in the 80 to 100ft depths. Some of these Striped Bass are in 20lbs range. Thats not a big fish fornLake Lanier bit very nice for summer time.
