Lake Lanier has some of the best Striped Bass fishing in the Southeast. The size of the freshwater Striper in Lake Lanier exceeds many other lakes. Lake Lanier fishing is like no other. We offer Guided Trophy Striped Bass Fishing trips year round. Our goal is to help every customer catch their trophy Striped Bass. This year we have caught two Striped Bass over 40 pounds and several over the 30 mark. The current Lake Lanier Striped Bass record is 47 3/4lbs. I look for this lake record to be broken very soon! Most of our fishing guides on Lake Lanier use live bait to increase your chances of catching Striper. We use Blue-Back Herring, Gizzard Shad for bait. We also offer artificial trips as well. We often cast top-water baits to surfacing fish on our guided fishing trips. We use several trolling techniques to catch fish. We guide night Striped Bass fishing trips during certain times of year. This can be lots of fun. Some of the bigger Striper are caught during the Spring and Fall. Watching a 30lbs Striper roll and grab a 2 pound Gizzard Shad or an 8 inch Blue-Back Herring is awesome!
